In 2024, 2.35 crore tourists visited Jammu and Kashmir, setting a new record. This was an increase from 2023, when 2.11 crore tourists visited the region. If you not in these 2.35 crore then now it is your time to make your life enjoyable and make memorable moments with your wife or family or with friends.

When it come to less crowded tourist place, how can I forget Bangus valley. The Bangus Valley official name Bungus Valley  is located in Kupwara District of Indian Administered Jammu and Kashmir. It is West of Handwara town . It is situated in the Pir Panjal range and is known for its breath-taking natural beauty, including snow-capped mountains, lush green forests, and crystal clear streams. It has got two ways, one from Kupwara side which is 42 kms away from main town Kupwara and other from Handwara side which is 29 kms respectively. Both the roads are almost completed. It is suitable for night camping in group but not recommended by locals. Always open for locals and outsiders.

On the rout of Baba Rashi and Gulmarg, Shrunz Waterfall

In this trip, I would like introduce you a one of the best, unexplored and less crowded waterfall near to Gulmarg, Shrunz Waterfall. There is no such beautiful waterfall in north Kashmir than Shrunz Waterfall. In fact, more beautiful than Drung waterfall. This site is located 5km away from Baba Rishi. It has natural beauty and scenery comprising of woods waterfall streams and gives pleasure to visitors. Visitors never forget the scenic beauty and amazing view of this place. The nearest railway station of this waterfall is Hamray Railway station in tehsil Pattan. There is no entrances fee or toll or any parking charges.

I don’t want to do injustice by not mentioning Yousmarg in the List

Yusmarg or Yousmarg (Meadow of Jesus) It is a hill station in the western part of the Budgam district of Jammu and Kashmir, India. It is situated 53 km (33 mi) south of Srinagar, the summer capital of the state. Yousmarg provides space for beautiful landscapes, young pine nurseries, green pastures and heart touching lotic and lentic water bodies. Nilnag, Doodhganga and a nascently created artificial dam adds more to the beauty of the meadows. Nature has bestowed Yusmarg with pleasant flora and fauna. Yusmarg is often referred to as a trekkers paradise. Yusmarg has some modest stay options but some new homestays have come up around the area. Also, locals have also claimed that they are often watching wild animals.
